An iconic representation of loving fatherhood, St. Joseph holds his Foster Son the infant Jesus. Protector of Christ in His childhood and youth, Joseph taught the skill of a carpenter. Jesus learned the love of a human father and, seeing Joseph’s love of Mary, Jesus learned the love and respect a good husband has for his wife. Through His devotion to Our Lord, Joseph earned the title Protector of the Church. He is the patron of all fathers, of the young, of husbands, of seminarians, of the dying. Joseph is also patron saint of the Universal Church, families, expectant mothers, travelers, immigrants, house sellers and buyers, craftsmen, engineers, and working people in general. This beautiful statue is approximately 10 inches tall.
